New Street Photography in Jersey City, New Jersey at the Monticello Avenue Street Festival shot on September 10th, 2016
People enjoying the hot weather, then a downpour and some more sunshine. Although I found that there was a relatively small amount of people in attendence, I expect that will increase dramatically in the future.
I also must say I witnessed what I felt was an extremely positive community outreach by the Jersey City Police Department. Well done!

Anyone have some spare change?
I'm still using the original Canon 5d, 10 years old and s showing it. I'd really like to be able to shoot in lower light. Also along with my still photography I'm interested in shooting a little video and my original 5d does not shoot video and has terrible noise in low light. Don't know where the money will come from!

Photographers of all levels are welcome.
Back when I was a young photographer, many many years ago, I would photograph people in the street all the time. Whereas these days it's mostly studio and location work, and commonly with models, not usually candids in the street. Sometimes I miss the freedom it seemingly afforded and I was looking for an opportunity to get back into some informal street photography.
Well one day I was going to meet a gathering of other photographers to do some street photography, and I arrived about half hour late (missed my bus into New York City from Hackensack, New Jersey). Needless to say, I didn't meet...
I work a lot with Adobe Photoshop but I don’t think I could ever undo whatever it was they changed on this chicken. And it's best before they packed it (according to the label).
(I believe they meant “Adobo" and not “Adobe")
Well it's that time of year again and PDN PhotoPlus ( The PDN PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo is the largest photography and imaging show on the East Coast) is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday October 22nd, 23rd and 24th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. I surely hope there is something to catch my interest this year. Wasn't too much last year. http://www.photoplusexpo.com
