New Street Photography in Jersey City, New Jersey at the Monticello Avenue Street Festival shot on September 10th, 2016
People enjoying the hot weather, then a downpour and some more sunshine. Although I found that there was a relatively small amount of people in attendance, I expect that will increase dramatically in the future. I also must say I witnessed what I felt was an extremely positive community outreach by the Jersey City Police Department. Well done!

I work a lot with Adobe Photoshop but I don’t think I could ever undo whatever it was they changed on this chicken. And it's best before they packed it (according to the label). (I believe they meant “Adobo" and not “Adobe")
My belief is there is a generally accepted misnomer in the photography world. That misnomer is “editing” when applied to retouching images. As far as I’m concerned, “editing” is the process of finding the best (or worse) images in a group in order to limit the total count of images for display, sale and or retouching, etcetera. A magazine Photo Editor picks the images of a photographer or photographers to display with an article, story or gallery, he doesn’t retouch the images (hopefully). Retouching is the process of refining an image in “post” after the image was taken. Of course...
